Erika Braeger is a 200HR-RYT with over eight years of practicing yoga around the world. Her favorite style is a creative flow that incorporates cardio, deep stretching, and meditation to help her students feel mentally refreshed and get a good sweat.
Erika lived abroad in Asia for four years and developed an interest in holistic wellness and healing. She takes an intuitive approach to challenging herself to nail the next balance pose while also knowing when to take a step back and appreciate progress. She follows a vegetarian and anti-inflammatory diet.
Yoga mean union or to "yolk". It's breath to movement, mind over matter, and staying tuned into your body. There are poses that challenge your balance and strength--inversely there are days when you need to take the modification. It's about cultivating an awareness and knowing how to breathe through discomfort. This practice can carry into your daily life. This is why I have stuck with yoga so long and this is what I hope to bring to my students."
